Terms of Service
Last updated: March 15, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using freqlab ("the Platform"), including freqlab Studio, Cloud, Distro, Marketplace, and any related services operated by Unbound Frequencies, Inc ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Accounts
You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
Paid plans (Pro, Business, Enterprise) are billed monthly or annually. Subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period. Cancellation reverts your account to the free Creator tier at the end of the billing period. Cloud build credits expire 12 months from purchase.
4. Intellectual Property
You own 100% of the plugins you create using the Platform, including source code, compiled binaries, branding, and DSP algorithms. Projects are fully portable and can be built with standard toolchains outside of freqlab. The freqlab name, logo, and Platform software remain the intellectual property of Unbound Frequencies, Inc.
5. Platform Fees
Sales made through the freqlab Marketplace or Distro storefronts are subject to a platform fee based on your subscription tier. The fee is calculated on the actual amount charged. Platform fee obligations follow the product, not the account, and survive transfers and changes of control.
6. Marketplace Conduct
You agree not to submit plugins that contain malware, violate third-party intellectual property rights, or misrepresent functionality. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these terms.
7. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time. Deletion includes a 14-day grace period during which you can reverse the action. After deletion, your products are removed from marketplaces and existing customer licenses convert to offline perpetual.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Unbound Frequencies, Inc is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
